Oyster Gardening

Oyster floats provide habitat for oyster spat to grow and filter the water.  A Virginia Marine Resources Commission permit is required for oyster floats.  The current permit expires in July of 2029.  Request for renewal must be submitted at least 60 days in advance of expiration.
